Police arrested a man in Zlin who was destroying goods with an ax in a furniture store there. He also poured red paint on it. No one was hurt, the man just wanted to draw attention to the activities of Ikea in Belarus.

Police reported the case on Twitter shortly before 5pm.

“Moments ago, the police arrested a man with an ax who demolished furniture and then covered it with red paint in a shopping center in Zlin. No one was injured and it seems that this is a man who wanted to draw attention to himself in this way.” Police books.

From the pictures it is clear that this is an Ikea store. The man wrecked the table and chest of drawers, then splattered red paint all around him. He ended up handcuffed to the ground.

According to the Facebook page of the Belarusian edition of Radio Free Europe, Belarusian activist Pyotr Markilao has protested against Equias’ collaboration with the Belarusian regime. As the man who shot the movie stated, he deliberately chose a moment when there were no children.

According to the author of the video, the man wanted to draw attention to the recent findings of the Disclose publication, which published an article about the alleged labor and forced labor of Belarusian prisoners at Ikea factories.
