The new Volkswagen Amarok will be shown to the world in mid-2022, with the Germans promising the possibility of closing the first orders in select markets at the end of this year.

According to the press release, the car will boast a completely new design and enlarged dimensions. Specifically, the truck would be ten inches and four inches longer.

Among other things, Volkswagen states that the velor will also improve in the interior, which should be more luxurious than the original version.

“The new Volkswagen Amarok impresses with its aggressive and straightforward design. This is also evident in the interior of this pickup.” Albert Johann Kerzinger, chief utility designer at Volkswagen, said: “The clear design, robust design, technically designed elements, clean and elegant surfaces and a high-quality dashboard. Exceptionally, they all take the Volkswagen DNA to a new level and further Amaroc’s distinct ambitions.”

The novelty should also offer a host of advanced assistance features to make the Amarok more useful in any job. In the pickup segment, the car should bring hitherto unused innovations. The automaker also confirmed the presence of the V6 TDI engine, as well as the petrol alternative.

Volkswagen has developed the novelty in Australia and Europe and plans to manufacture it in Silverton, South Africa. It will be created in cooperation with Ford, which has already presented its guard on a common platform.
