Rona Island, Inner Hebrides, has posted a job advert online seeking a full-time Estate Agent who will be responsible for a range of responsibilities allowing the Island Manager to work on other projects.

With the island nestled between Skye and the west coast of Scotland, the two-man islander wants to double the size by employing a worker who lives on the estate with his partner.

Rhone Island is only accessible by private ferry that goes once a week, so it is a remote location.

“Successful applicants will be able to perform a variety of roles including estate management and property maintenance, housekeeping, logistics, deer management and hunting and poaching,” the Island State writes on HiJobs’ job listing.

Other duties include maintaining heavy equipment including boats, rigs, machinery and various other assets.
