The ship “His Majesty Yanbu” landed in the Kingdom with nationals of Arab and foreign countries on board
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said, on Tuesday, that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is communicating with the brothers in Sudan to secure safe passages for evacuations.

And to complete the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to complete the evacuations from Sudan, on Monday evening, a Saudi ship coming from Port Sudan, northeastern Sudan, docked on the western coast of the Red Sea at King Faisal Base in the city of Jeddah.
And on board the ship “His Majesty Yanbu”, which landed in the Kingdom, are the nationals of Arab and foreign countries.

Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath correspondent also reported that the Saudi naval forces had completed the evacuation of the second batch from Sudan.
He added that the Saudi ship, which docked in Jeddah, evacuated nationals from the Netherlands, Iraq, Turkey, Tanzania, Lebanon and Libya, as well as America, Britain, Sweden, Italy, Qatar and Syria.
He also revealed that the Saudi authorities had secured hotels for the arrivals, amid special treatment until their safe arrival to their countries.
In turn, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that 10 of its citizens were evacuated on the Saudi ship that docked in Jeddah.
It confirmed that it had evacuated 189 nationals of Arab and foreign countries.

In addition, the number of nationals evacuated by Saudi Arabia from Sudan during the past few days has reached 356, including 101 Saudis and 255 of 26 other nationalities.

It is noteworthy that Western, Arab and Asian countries were racing against time to evacuate their nationals from Khartoum since last Sunday, as clashes continued between the army and the Rapid Support Forces.
Saudi Arabia has adopted the move by land to Port Sudan in the first announced evacuation of civilians on Saturday, before transporting them across the Red Sea to Jeddah.
The United States, Britain, France and Germany joined it, as these countries expelled their citizens and diplomats from Sudan, while the fighting between the army and the Rapid Support Forces entered its second week.
Since April 15, the battles between the army and the Rapid Support Forces have killed more than 420 people and injured 3,700, and prompted tens of thousands to flee from the areas of clashes towards other states, or towards Chad and Egypt.
