Basra Arts Festival, Ras Al Khaimah Historical Castle
Unparalleled creativity, impressive heritage collections, distinctive sites…..diverse terrain….fun events.
First of all, let me convey to you my repeated experience of one of its landmarks, with a simple narrative nature. The goal is the feeling of the absent present with us…… the Visual Arts Festival…… Al-Jazirah Al-Hamra Castle there in the Emirate of Ras Al-Khaimah.
And since Al-Ghala is the name of a girl in the ninth grade, and she was a volunteer, and she was chosen to take the comprehensive questionnaire about Ras Al-Khaimah with foreigners from the audience watching the event. Since I have a love of curiosity, volunteering, and helping, I was with her, so we were at home with a mother and her daughter, and during the questionnaire we were volunteer work friends. An enjoyable experience everyone encouraged us.
We started taking the questionnaire kindly, which made me happy and encouraged me to use my humble lens. They were not satisfied with answering the questions set, but they had something more than that. They have happy eyes that carry many words, and they have strong feelings that want to go out into the wide yard. So I recorded, photographed, heard and thanked.
It documented the words and long conversations of a large family of grandfather and grandchildren who moved from country to country, but they praised and loved Ras Al Khaimah.
Other words documented by an Arab family who went through all kinds of fatigue in their country. I felt as if they were waiting for someone to ask them how much you love the Emirates and Ras Al Khaimah in particular, so that they could express and describe it, but they went on talking about it only after the peace.
* I documented the words of different European families and other nationalities, which distinguished them from others despite their brief sentences, but the meanings and feelings are great.
I saw the sparkle in their eyes as they talked about how amazing and amazing Ras Al Khaimah is at the same time.
I documented the smile of a girl who did not speak Arabic, but wanted to convey to everyone that her birthday was in a few days, how happy she was to share it by communicating with us, and documented the beautiful words of an American international singing group. They came to please the audience and described their interesting visit to me.
In fact, I do not hear the song in a language other than Arabic, and I used to take the appropriate time to continue taking the questionnaire, but honestly, they surprised me and entertained me.
I wrote here only from one side, so how about if I tell you about…..
# The castle, its construction and age.
#or about castle paintings and decor.
#Or about the exciting festival programs.
#or about an outdoor cinema.
#Or about the day of the truth of the night that is not like the rest of the days.
Or about the organizers who were like a hive of bees, you see them moving from one side to the other every now and then, you feel their happiness and tiredness equally clear in their features, and with all love they dazzle us with a different and more beautiful day than the previous day.
And headed by the director of the festival, Socrates bin Bishr. And there is a lot to write and write. In fact, I am grateful to everyone I met and to everyone I met. It was a beautiful, enjoyable and useful experience.
