Beirut – “Sabah Brothers” company is preparing to launch its new series “Salon Zahra”, starring Lebanese star Nadine Nassib Njeim and Syrian artist Motasem Al-Nahar, early next August, through the “Shahid VIP” platform.
The series, whose filming began a few weeks ago, consists of 15 episodes, based on a story and script by Nadine Jaber, and directed by Joe Bouaid.
Along with Najim and An-Nahar, Tony Issa, Carol Abboud, Nicolas Daniel, Fadi Abi Samra, Zina Makki, Nahla Daoud, Magdy Mashmoushi, Nawal Kamel, Junaid Zain Al-Din, Anju Rayhan, Hussein Mokadam, Rasha Bilal, and Lynn Ghara will participate in the action championship, along with Najim and Al-Nahar. and others.
In this work, Najim is going through a completely different experience from her previous experiences, especially since the social work revolves around the stories of women and presents their issues and concerns in a comic and dramatic manner together.
Most of the work events were filmed in one of Beirut’s popular neighborhoods, specifically the Mar Mikhael area, where the street was fully equipped to suit the atmosphere of the daring series at the level of subtraction and treatment.
It is the second work that brings together the two stars, Najim and An-Nahar, after the duo succeeded in their first experience in the series “Five and a Text”, which was shown in the month of Ramadan 2019, in which they won the Best Actor and Actress Awards based on the audience’s vote at the Arab Satellite TV Festival. It is the series in which Qusai Khouli, Rafeeq Ali Ahmed, Naama Badawi and Nawal Kamel also collaborated with them.
Najim had expressed in one of her press interviews after the success of the series “Five and Nos” that she was satisfied with working with Moatasem Al-Nahar, where she said, “My duet with Moatasem in the series “Five and Nos” was successful and did not see the audience’s enthusiasm.. Therefore, it was expected that we would repeat the ball in A series that brings us together.”
With the approach of the series “Zahra Salon”, “Al-Sabah Brothers” revealed the official poster for the work on its official page on Twitter, and the poster appeared in the series’s hero, Najim and An-Nahar, standing face to face, looking at each other intimately.
The company wanted the date of its new series to coincide with the first anniversary of the Beirut port explosion, as it shines in part on this explosion that caused severe property damage, including “Zahra Salon”, a beauty salon in which Nadine Najim and Zina Makki work.
Commenting on the events of the series, writer Nadine Jaber reported in one of her Facebook posts, “Pedicure, manicure, dyeing, hair cutting, tongue cutting, salon, and not all salons,” and concluded “Note: Men are not allowed to enter.”
