and run Zamalek A temporary committee led by Hussein Labib, appointed by the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports, seeks to provide the necessary liquidity to renew the contracts of players, led by Bencharki, in light of the financial crisis the club is going through.
After the failure of the renewal of the Tunisian international star Sassi, who preferred to leave for Al-Duhail Al-Qatari in a free transfer deal, fears of losing Bencharki in a similar way increased.
Contract stipulates Bncherqa The current deal with Zamalek obtained the striker receiving 4.6 million euros for 3 seasons (past, current and future), in addition to the club bearing the cost of the player’s residence, transfers and trips to Morocco during breaks.
The player will receive 1.8 million euros in his last season with Zamalek 2021-2022, which makes the white administration required to pay at least the same amount in each subsequent season to convince him to renew his contract.
In light of the current financial crisis in the club, the temporary committee for the management of Zamalek finds only 3 ways to meet the financial demands of Bencharki, before he is entitled to free signing for any club next January.
The first way lies in reviving the treasury of Zamalek by renewing members’ subscriptions and opening the door to memberships with bank facilities, as announced by a member of the temporary committee, Hossam El-Mandouh.
The second way is summarized in reviving the attempt to collect donations through the club’s bank account, which did not work with him sassi Who decided to leave and put an end to the negotiation.
While the third way lies in the resort of Zamalek to its sponsoring company to provide a huge amount in an advance payment, in order to renew the contract of Bencharki.
And former Zamalek player and coach Mahmoud Abu Rgeila confirmed that Bencharki is “an indispensable player in the team, given the levels he provides.”
Abu Rjeila commented in an interview with “Sky News Arabia”, saying: “If Patrice Carteron (the coach of Zamalek) decides to keep the player, the administration must do everything possible to fulfill his request.”
But he added, “Zamalek is going through a financial crisis at the present time, and the Egyptian proverb says (on your quilt, extend your legs). If the club does not succeed in providing the financial demands, then there is no trick.”
In the same context, sports critic Tariq Talaat gave his opinion in an interview with “Sky News Arabia”, where he said: “Zamalek is able to renew Bencharki and meet his financial demands, especially after the administration prepared the necessary funds to renew Sassi’s contract, but he decided to leave.”
Talaat added: “Zamalek can use the renewal funds for Sassi to support the new Bencharki contract, whose level has increased significantly from its previous version in Moroccan Wydad.”
Tariq Talaat concluded: “The only obstacle in renewing Bencharki’s contract is his obtaining an offer that cannot be rejected from a club, such as Sassi, who will receive 3 million euros annually.”
